Though Kai won the first match of the team battle, Misaki is challenged by Asaka Narumi, known as the "Assassin". Asaka skillfully uses a Pale Moon deck, and though Misaki tries to fight by reading her opponent's moves, Asaka plans further ahead and cripples Misaki's strategy while preparing her field. Using a tactic dubbed the "Deadly Shadow Beasts", Asaka superior calls units from the soul to launch an unavoidable three-pronged attack coupled with a draw trigger. With that, Asaka delivers the final blow to Misaki. This leaves both teams with a single match won, and it is up to Aichi to determine Q4's fate against Tetsu, the "General" of AL4.
