He is the creator of both Wataru and Wataru Himeji and wears a mask similar to Papy's when needing to hide his face. By the time of his first appearance, Keito Makabe is already dead and his body is under Rei Kurorogi's control. Keito Makabe is one of the many people whose bodies and identities he has possessed, including that of Koumei (Eris's husband) and Shinobu's mother (who was an exorcist). He became the god of the new world.
