Makoto (Known as Verity in most international countries) is a major character who appeared in 'Pocket Monsters: Kimi ni Kimeta!'. She is a vibrant and tomboyish Pokémon Trainer who seems to enjoy adventures. She is also one of Satoshi traveling companions in that movie.
