Toshimasa Takahashi was the seventh editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump and also known as the first editor of Izumi Matsumoto and Yoshihiro Togashi. On January 24th, 2003, he suddenly collapsed while attending press conference of ONE PIECE THE MOVIE: Dead End no Bouken, he died two hours later.
