An 8-second animation experiment manipulates frame intervals by gradually increasing the space between them, emphasizing expansion rather than time progression. The work, completed in 2014, was part of a graduate project at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation. It received several awards, including the 2014 Anima Mundi, Best Gallery Film at 2014 ANIMPACT, Jury Special Prize at the 2014 Tokyo Anime Award Festival, and the Graduation Work Adobe Prize.
