Adachi-ga Hara

An astronaut is exiled to a penal colony planet and encounters an elderly woman who reveals insights about life and love. Originally a short manga published in "The Lion Books," it was later adapted into an animated series. The main character, Jess, opposes the federation's dictator governing Earth and other planets, leading to his arrest and imprisonment on the colony. The narrative centers on his experiences and draws thematic elements from the Japanese Noh play "Kurozuka."
