Kippei is a high school student known for his flirtatious behavior and lack of concern for responsibilities. His life changes when he comes home to discover he must take care of his five-year-old cousin, Yuzuyu, after her mother, Miyako, suddenly vanishes. Struggling with his inexperience in childcare and Yuzuyu's emotional distress over her mother's disappearance, the two face challenges as they navigate their new living arrangement.
