After a global war that did not involve nuclear weapons, the city of Olympus has emerged as the central authority. Governed by Bioroids—clones created from the most superior human DNA—it is protected from terrorist threats by specialized military units. Deunan Knotts, a former member of the LAPD SWAT team, and Brialeos, her versatile cyborg companion, are part of these forces. They encounter opposition from the Human Liberation Front and its associated terrorist faction, the Argonauts.
