Akamatsu Industries, a covert organization operating under the guise of a heavy machinery plant in Tokyo, leads the resistance by deploying advanced weapons called NeuroNoids, which are enhanced with neural technology. Assisting in these secret operations is an enigmatic mutant referred to only as "Betterman."
