Brave Story

An 11-year-old boy named Wataru faces hardship when his father departs and his mother is hospitalized. After being shown a mysterious door by his friend Mitsuru, he chooses to alter his future by entering a world filled with magic and creatures. There, he joins a group of allies and sets out on a quest to confront the Goddess of Destiny in hopes of correcting what he believes to be an erroneous fate.
