Cinderella Monogatari

A young girl is the only daughter of a wealthy family. After her mother's death, her father marries a widow with two daughters and leaves for business. The girl is forced into servitude by her new family. Meanwhile, the Prince, feeling confined in the palace, disguises himself as a commoner and leaves the castle. He meets the girl after a chance encounter and they become close friends, unaware of his true identity. A conflict arises when the king’s advisor plots to overthrow the prince and seize power. Later, the castle hosts a royal ball to help the prince select a bride, and all eligible women are invited. The girl is barred from attending by her stepmother but receives assistance from her animal companions and a Fairy Godmother.
