Gakuen Alice

Sakura Mikan and Imai Hotaru are close friends when Hotaru announces her transfer to a school for gifted students in Tokyo called Alice Academy. Mikan is troubled by rumors that students at the academy are treated like prisoners and decides to run away to visit Hotaru. Upon arriving, she discovers the school has many positive aspects and becomes involved in an exciting journey.
