Inhabitants of this world are given a "book of fate" at birth, containing the details of their predetermined lives. This world is shaped by entities called "Story Tellers." Some of these, known as Chaos Tellers, secretly alter the books by adding harmful events. Individuals who possess blank books of fate take on the task of locating and countering these rogue figures to correct the disruptions they cause.
