Akane is transported to the realm of Kyou and discovers she is the Ryuujin no Miko. She is joined by the Hachiyou, who serve as her protectors. Their mission is to stop Akuram, a demon seeking to use Azusa’s ability to drain human energy to destroy Kyou. If they fail, Azusa’s power will lead to the destruction of humans.
