Yuuya Nomoto becomes involved in a kidnapping when he unknowingly transports a girl named Hitomi Uzaki. Instead of being a victim, she violently attacks and defeats her captors. She then compels Yuuya to take her to a venue where she enters a deadly combat match, wagering the worth of his internal organs on her victory. Hitomi emerges triumphant, revealing herself as a Therianthrope, a genetically modified combatant designed for the clandestine bloodsport events known as Killing Bites. With his unwitting participation in the incident, Yuuya is drawn into this dangerous subculture and is forced to keep assisting Hitomi. The narrative hinges on the fact that Hitomi possesses traits of a honey badger.
