Kuronuma Sawako is frequently misinterpreted by those around her. Her gentle and shy nature is often seen as unfriendly, partly because of her likeness to a character from "The Ring," earning her the nickname Sadako. She desires to form friendships and live a typical school life. Kazehaya Shouta, a well-liked student admired for his cheerful attitude, begins to interact with her. This unexpected attention brings Sawako hope that she might finally connect with others. There is a possibility that these interactions could lead to something more meaningful for her.
