Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven: Pocket ga Niji de Ippai

A boy named Renton, whose parents are scientists, and a girl named Eureka, who cannot live in sunlight, are raised together from a young age and develop a strong bond. Eureka is taken away from them, and an inexperienced Renton promises to save her. He joins the military and is placed in the Independent Youths Unit 303 of the First Mobile Forces due to his outstanding skills with the Nirvash, a biomechanical armor and control system. Unbeknownst to Renton, he and Eureka are connected to a larger scheme involving an ongoing alien invasion.
