A sudden outbreak of undead creatures forces humanity into survival mode, as those bitten transform into "Kabane." The Hinomoto people have constructed fortified stations to protect themselves from the growing threat. This movie compiles the TV series into two parts: the first focusing on gathering light and the second on a life that burns. It includes exclusive scenes only available in the film, along with a remastered ending that differs from the original series.
