Mahou Sensei Negima! Introduction Film

Three original video animations were released prior to the series, bundled with drama CDs for the first two and sold separately for the third. Their purpose was to introduce the characters. The first OVA reenacts the first chapter, showing Negi learning about his teaching position and meeting students from Mahora Academy 2-A, ending with character profiles of Asuna, Makie, Yue, Ku Fei, Kaede, and Ayaka. Asuna is the only female in the class without romantic interest in Negi. The second OVA reenacts the "love potion" incident from chapter 2, concluding with profiles of Nodoka, Konoka, the cheerleaders, and Kazumi. The third OVA reenacts chapter 13, featuring Negi's tour of Mahora with the Narutaki twins, introducing several students and those he overlooks. After being reprimanded by Haruna, a final scene introduces Setsuna and Mana observing something on campus. It is uncertain if these OVAs will be released outside Japan.
