A new student joins a school with three baseball teams. The first team is highly respected in the prefecture, while the third team consists of players considered weak or unskilled. The coach plans to disband the third team in a month, but agrees to let them play one game against the first team if they win, they can take the first team’s place and potentially compete at Koshien Stadium. With support from Kaido, a former first-team member, the group works hard to prove their worth.
