Oedo wa Nemurenai!

During the early 18th century in the Kyouhou era, a time of growing merchant culture, a courtesan named Usugumo gains popularity in Yoshiwara, Edo. Born to a Christianized prostitute and shogun Yoshimune, she is separated from her father due to political tensions. Her life changes when she meets Kikunosuke, a thief with blond hair. Alongside Kikunosuke, a doctor practicing Western medicine named Aoto Touichirou, and her cat Kotetsu, Usugumo forms a group of thieves called the Kikugumi. A member of an enigmatic organization soon emerges with a focus on Usugumo.
