Aki Itou is a high school student who enjoys everyday activities such as reading, caring for stray cats, dining with her friend Kumi, and imagining her future as an adult. She also has a crush on a boy. Despite her ordinary life and aspirations, she soon discovers that life can be unkind to those who hold onto dreams.
