Touken Ranbu Kai: Kyoden Moyuru Honnouji

A new sword appears at the citadel: Fudou Yukimitsu, once wielded by Oda Nobunaga and later given to his attendant, Mori Ranmaru. The sword expresses pride in its connection to Nobunaga, creating tension with other blades—Souza Samonji, Heshikiri Hasebe, and Yagen Toushirou—who also served him. The team captain, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, must manage the resulting discord among the swords. Meanwhile, the saniwa receives a directive to travel to 1582, the time of the Honnouji event, where Nobunaga died. The anime was directed and written by Kenichi Suemitsu, who also handled the original play.
