Yuuyake

A crowded train is the setting for a girl offering her seat to an elderly man, only for another one to appear shortly after. Through such everyday moments, the piece explores the nature of suffering and the meaning of kindness in contemporary society. The work is an animated adaptation of a song by Wataru Takada, which was inspired by a poem written by Hiroshi Yoshino.
