Takuya is an elementary school student in Japan who recently lost his mother, leaving him to live with his father and newborn brother, Minoru. With his father often occupied, Takuya is left to care for Minoru, a responsibility that weighs heavily on him given his young age. At times, he feels resentment toward his situation and his younger sibling. However, his underlying affection for Minoru helps him endure the challenges he faces. The story includes four one-shots that explore different aspects of Takuya's life and emotions as he navigates this difficult period.
