Atsuize Pen-chan

A man who goes by the nickname Pen-chan has a strong passion for mahjong but lacks skill in the game. The story consists of brief episodes involving his encounters with friends, family, coworkers, and a local yakuza group, documenting his frequent losses and occasional wins. These episodes lead up to a final decision in which Pen-chan takes the most significant risk of his life.
