Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu

Two children, Takuma and Mayu, meet when Takuma is eight and frequently hospitalized for a heart condition. Mayu is the doctor's daughter handling his care. Over time, their friendship deepens. During that summer, Takuma makes a promise to Mayu that he is unable to fulfill. As they grow older, their relationship continues to develop. The manga received the 53rd Shogakukan Manga Award in the Shoujo Category in 2008.
