A growing number of girls are undergoing a physical change during late puberty involving the external genitalia, leading to increased masculinization. Ooi Haruka has experienced this transformation and has only shared it with her family. After an awkward encounter with a boy she admires on a crowded train, she finds herself at school surrounded by a group of students known as the "Bra Girls (Swing Girls)," who are aware of her secret.
