DINER

Ooba Kanako, an office supply worker, finds her monotonous routine upended after taking a job as a getaway driver for a pair who rob the Yakuza. On the verge of death, she is rescued at the last moment. Her savior is the owner of a diner known as "Canteen," which serves a clientele of killers and criminals. He informs her she is the ninth waitress to work there, with all prior waitresses meeting tragic fates due to the volatile customers. Now employed, Kanako must navigate the dangerous environment to determine whether she will be the diner's final waitress or survive her second chance at life.
