In a bleak, nameless city referred to as "the Hole," a group of Sorcerers abduct individuals for sinister experiments involving dark magic. Nikaido discovers Caiman, a man with a reptilian head and no memory, in a shadowy alley. Their mission is to eliminate the Sorcerers, believing one of them holds the key to reversing Caiman’s curse. When En, the leader of the Sorcerers, learns of a lizard-man killing his followers, he dispatches a team of "cleaners" to the Hole, leading to a conflict between the two factions. The narrative includes 23 additional tales titled "Extra Evil," as well as a supplementary story called "The Lizard Head and the Magic Whistle."
