Goku has grown bored after defeating Boo and continues to avoid responsibilities, preferring to train and seek stronger opponents. His wife, Chi-chi, encourages him to find work, but he remains uninterested. Meanwhile, Beerus, the God of Destruction, and his attendant Whis travel across planets for food and amusement, occasionally destroying those in their path. Beerus recalls a figure from his dreams known as “Super Saiyan God” and becomes determined to find him. This leads him to set his sights on Earth, potentially giving Goku a new challenge.
