Hello, Melancholic!

Asano Minato is a first-year high school student who prefers to remain unnoticed, despite her talent for playing the trombone. Her attempts at staying in the background are disrupted when the energetic and outgoing Hibiki, a senior, insists that Minato join the band she is starting. Hibiki does not accept Minato’s reluctance, pushing her to reconsider. The story explores whether Minato can overcome her past and participate in a band once more. It also questions if individuals with contrasting personalities can find harmony through music. The series includes four additional chapters.
