Ichiokunen Button wo Rendashita Ore wa, Kizuitara Saikyou ni Natteita: Rakudai Kenshi no Gakuin Musou

A former swordsman, having met with failure, is approached by an enigmatic old man offering a magical button labeled "100 million years." Pressing it grants the equivalent of a million years of training, but at a cost. The swordsman, skeptical yet intrigued, presses the button multiple times, each press triggering a time prison where he is forced to endure an extended period of training. The first century is spent in focused practice, but as the years accumulate, he begins to lose his sense of purpose and eventually his ability to think. After a hundred million years, he emerges from the time prison, physically broken but having returned to the real world.
