Jounetsu no Penguin Gohan
情熱のペンギンごはん
Penguin Gohan is a Garo gag manga known for its crude, lewd, and gory humor, following a penguin and his family in a series of absurd and surreal stories. The work blends grotesque, ero-guro-inspired comedy with chaotic nonsense. Created by Shigesato Itoi and illustrated by Teruhiko Yumura, it is often credited as the origin of the heta-uma art style. The manga originally appeared in Garo and was later republished three times with slight variations: first in 1980 by JOHO Center Publishing, then in 1993 by Chikuma Bunko, and finally in 2011 by Hobonichi Books.
