In modern Japan, rental services offer temporary companionship, including fake romantic relationships. After being betrayed by his girlfriend, a college freshman named Kazuya tries one of these services. He soon realizes the complexity of renting a relationship, especially when his new girlfriend is keeping her job a secret.
