Kemono Jihen

A Tokyo detective known for handling occult cases is called to a remote village, where he encounters Dorotabo, a strange boy with no parents who is nicknamed after a yokai. The boy is disliked by locals for his unpleasant smell and unsettling presence. The detective soon discovers that Dorotabo's nickname does not fully capture the true nature of his unsettling qualities. Together, they investigate a creature attacking animals in the area. The detective considers taking the boy under his guidance to help him confront supernatural threats, using the strange abilities he possesses.
