A woman with a slit mouth named Miroku-san is set to marry a high school student named Kouichi, as his family has long been responsible for maintaining superstitions. There appears to be an additional reason why Kouichi is eager to proceed. Miroku prefers to rely on her own abilities rather than those of others. As a result, they agree to a one-year trial period during which they will pretend to be married. If Miroku can scare Kouichi within that time, the engagement will be terminated.
