Isamu is unremarkable and often dismissed as a background presence. His enthusiasm for running fails to earn him a place on the track team, and he works a poorly paid part-time job to get by. His frustration builds, but it isn't until a strange illness emerges that things change. Those infected transform into monsters when experiencing sexual excitement. To survive, Isamu must learn to manage his repressed emotions and impulses.
