Maison Ikkoku

A quirky apartment building in Japan houses a cast of eccentric residents. Kyoko, a striking and enigmatic new manager, shares the space with Yusaku, a college student overwhelmed by exams. Other tenants include Mrs. Ichinose, a talkative drunkard; Kentaro, her difficult young son; Akemi, a bar hostess with a fondness for alcohol; and Mr. Yotsuya, a freeloading voyeur. The series blends humor, heartfelt moments, and a slightly chaotic tone, showcasing the work of Rumiko Takahashi.
