Masuraou

A small town near Osaka maintains an ancient tradition where men annually compete in a ritual known as the "grand ceremony of Masuraou," using only their fists and courage to determine the town's king. A high school student from Tokyo named Takeshi Yamato moves there, seeking to leave behind his past as a former gang leader and start anew. However, his efforts to blend in are complicated by the ongoing competition, the risk of his hidden past being exposed, and the challenges of navigating relationships and friendships. The series includes two additional short stories.
