A ninth-grade student named Misato struggles both academically and in matters of the heart, and this work explores her experience with newfound romance. A second volume includes two additional stories. In one, Suzuna, a high school basketball team manager with a youthful appearance, faces difficulty getting her crush, Yuuji-senpai, to see her as more than a little sister. In the other, Natsumi, the class president who feels isolated due to being perceived as a nerd, is unexpectedly paired with Sawada, a cheerful and outgoing boy she dislikes, for a shopping trip.
