Natsukusa Monogatari

A warrior named Kunugi Naramaru is approached by a soldier he has bested in combat, who requests that he inform the soldier’s family of his death. Moved by sympathy, Kunugi accepts the task and grows close to the family, offering support in their everyday lives. Over time, a bond forms between them. The situation changes when the soldier’s son, Heiwa, learns the truth about his father’s death and the role Kunugi played in it.
