Ninja Slayer Series

Ninjas were once powerful figures who ruled Japan with martial arts during a time of peace. Some performed a forbidden ritual, preserving their souls at Kinkaku Temple for later revival. Their history was altered and forgotten. In a future dominated by cybernetic technology and digital networks, these ancient ninja souls are revived and appear in Neo-Saitama. Fujikido Kenji, a salaryman who lost his family in a ninja conflict, survives an attack and is taken over by a mysterious ninja spirit. He becomes Ninja Slayer, a figure bound to destroy malevolent ninjas and seek revenge. He battles members of the Soukai Syndicate in a dark, futuristic setting.
