Ichiro, a manga artist with only a middle school education, struggles to support his two younger siblings after his father's death. He relies on traditional drawing methods because he lacks computer skills and has little time for anything else. When his art assistants leave to pursue their own careers, his already heavy workload becomes overwhelming. Just as he nears a breaking point, a new assistant enters his life. She is talented, punctual, and attractive, quickly improving his situation. However, she appears to know too much about him, and eventually reveals a shocking truth that challenges his understanding of reality.
