A musician named Rikitaro dreams of becoming a rock star but feels his chances slipping away at 27. A retired three-time boxing champion, Ooishi, has transitioned into the entertainment industry by filming a reality show. The two meet but do not initially recognize the significance. Rikitaro is offered a final opportunity by a record label, but must improve his physical condition first. He finds a boxing gym, coincidentally the same one where Ooishi is working. As events unfold, the two men come together to train what could be the greatest boxer ever, surpassing even Ooishi's achievements.
