Lee Rim, a chef who lost his sense of taste and smell, finds himself unable to continue his career. As he struggles with depression, he stumbles upon a virtual reality game called [Real], which replicates all five senses. Within the game, he regains his lost abilities and discovers he can cook again. However, he must also hunt for rare monster ingredients to use in his recipes. In this new environment, Rim aims to create flavorful dishes, pursue dangerous creatures, and establish a new identity. He adopts the in-game name "Rice" and begins his journey in this virtual world.
