SPINOZA
SPINOZA
A man with blonde hair plays pool in a quiet lounge before being attacked from behind with a glass bottle, causing him to lose consciousness. He wakes up in a rocky valley, fishing, and soon gets swallowed by a large fish. After regaining consciousness again, he finds himself in a crowded arena as a participant in a boxing match. The man continues to experience abrupt transitions, waking up in new and varied locations, each time involved in a different conflict. He has little time to process each situation before being transported again. The only consistent element linking these events is the repeated mention of the name "Spinoza." Each chapter is a single page, composed of 53 panels, and published in PHOTO JAPON from December 1985 to June 1986.
