In 1991, during the final years of Japan's bubble economy, wealth and sophistication define the city's atmosphere, but hidden beneath lies a realm of darkness where malevolent spirits thrive. These threats are countered by the onmyoji, Japan's mystical practitioners of the occult. Among them are two of the most formidable: a young and attractive veterinarian named Seishiro and Subaru, a teenage descendant of the revered Sumeragi lineage.
