Tomie

A woman with long black hair and a beauty mark beneath her left eye exerts a powerful allure over men, often leading them to commit violent acts, including murder. She is frequently the victim of those she seduces, yet she continues to return despite repeated attempts to kill her. Two men react differently—one desires to possess her, while the other becomes fearful of her seemingly endless existence. The stories are largely self-contained, with one additional chapter released for the first time in a standalone version in February 2000. Later editions combine these stories with a sequel, forming a complete collection of 20 chapters. One of the stories has also been adapted into an episode of an anthology series.
