Ueki no Housoku

A competition is held to determine the next celestial ruler, with each participant chosen from a junior high student and given a unique ability. One of these students is Kosuke Ueki, who has the power to transform trash into trees. Unaware he is part of the contest, Ueki faces the challenge of using his ability in a battle-based tournament where defeated contestants are eliminated and winners gain new skills. His power appears unlikely to help him succeed.
